All bookings are completed online ONLY through the website, with no cash or direct-bank payments accepted.

HOW OUR TRAILER SKIP HIRE WORKS

Whether you’re tackling a weekend clean-up, clearing the yard or taking on a larger renovation, our trailer skips give you a simple and flexible way to manage your waste and keep your project moving.

With the entire booking process managed online, you can book anytime, from anywhere — without being limited by opening or closing hours. 

Choose the trailer skip and hire duration that suits your project, then tailor your hire with any additional services you need.

  • DRY HIRE

    All trailer skips come standard as Dry Hire, giving you the flexibility to collect your trailer skip at the beginning of your hire and return it once your project is complete.

    Your trailer skip must be returned empty and clean. If waste remains in the trailer skip or additional cleaning is required, applicable fees will be incurred in accordance with your Hire Agreement.

    For added convenience, delivery and/or collection can be selected when booking your Dry Hire, allowing you to choose the level of service that works best for your project while remaining responsible for emptying and cleaning the trailer skip.

  • WET HIRE 

    If you’d prefer us to take care of the transport and disposal, Wet Hire is available as an optional extra to your trailer skip hire. Simply select Wet Hire when completing your booking. We’ll deliver the empty trailer skip to your nominated location, ready for you to load with your accepted waste, and return to collect it at the end of your hire. 


    From there, we take care of cleaning the trailer skip and completing one dump run, leaving you to focus on your project rather than the trip to dispose of your waste.

    Disposal, waste tipping, landfill and waste processing charges are calculated separately based on the actual costs incurred and invoiced following disposal. Any applicable additional charges are managed in accordance with your Hire Agreement.

FINALISING YOUR BOOKING

  • 1 - SELECT, BOOK & PAY 

    Select your trailer skip, hire duration and any additional services required, then proceed through our secure online checkout.

    To secure and confirm your chosen hire, full payment is required at checkout.

  • 2 - COMPLETE THE HIRE AGREEMENT 

    Once payment is complete, you’ll be taken directly to your Hire Agreement to complete the required documentation and electronically sign.

    Please have the following ready:

    ➔ Order Number
    ➔ Hire details
    ➔ Valid driver’s licence details
    ➔ Clear images of the front and back of your valid driver’s licence

    Your Hire Agreement must be completed and electronically signed within 24 hours of completing your booking and payment.

  • 3 - NEED TO COME BACK TO IT?

    If you’re unable to complete your Hire Agreement immediately after checkout, we’ll also send you a follow-up email with a direct link to complete it.

    If you’ve already completed and signed your Hire Agreement after checkout, no further action is required and you can simply disregard the email.

    Your hire is not fully finalised until your Hire Agreement has been completed and signed.

CHOOSE YOUR TRAILER SKIP

LITTLE RED

Compact, easy to tow, and perfect for smaller projects or tighter spaces. With a 3m³ capacity, Little Red holds approximately 3–4 standard box trailer loads (around 500–600 kg total).

A minimum towing capacity of 2.5 tonnes is required once loaded, accounting for both the trailer skip and its contents. Ideal for garden waste, home cleanups, and light renovation materials such as tiles, timber, and plasterboard.

BIG RED

Built for larger projects and heavier waste, Big Red is designed for strength, stability, and convenience on bigger jobs. With a 5m³ capacity, it holds approximately 6–8 standard box trailer loads (around 800–1,000 kg total), making it ideal for major renovations, landscaping, and construction cleanups.

A minimum towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes is required once loaded. Big Red is fitted with electric brakes, and drivers will need to download the compatible brake-controller app to connect via Bluetooth and configure the system before towing.

This setup ensures smooth, safe towing and full control throughout your hire period — giving you the reliability and confidence needed for larger-scale projects.

OUR LOCATION & SERVICE AREA

Based in Gladstone, Central Queensland, we proudly service the greater Gladstone Region.

Pick-ups and returns take place within the allocated time windows, with arrangements confirmed as apart of your booking.

Delivery and collection services are available for both Dry Hire and Wet Hire within the Gladstone region. Services outside the Gladstone region may incur additional travel charges in accordance with our Hire Agreement.

✅ ACCEPTED WASTE

General waste, green waste, and light construction materials, including:

  • Household rubbish (non-hazardous)
  • Garden waste such as grass, leaves, and branches
  • Timber, tiles, plasterboard, bricks, and small amounts of concrete
  • Furniture and appliances (excluding refrigerated items)
  • Light metals, plastics, cardboard, and paper

🚫 PROHIBITED WASTE

Certain materials cannot be disposed of in your skip for environmental and safety reasons, including:

  • Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
  • Paints, oils, fuels, chemicals, or solvents
  • Gas bottles, batteries, or medical waste
  • Tyres, large rubber products, or liquids of any kind
  • Refrigerated whitegoods (fridges, freezers, or A/C units)
  • Soil, rocks, or concrete exceeding weight limits
  • Any hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials

If prohibited waste or contamination is found, the hirer is responsible for all additional disposal fees and council penalties.
